Description
KEIM Innostar is a premium interior mineral paint designed for walls and ceilings where a healthy, breathable, and highly refined matte finish is desired. Formulated using sol silicate technology, Innostar chemically bonds into the substrate rather than forming a plastic film on the surface. The result is a velvety mineral appearance with exceptional durability, light diffusion, and color depth. In many applications, only a single coat is required due to its ultra high opacity and coverage.
Color
A saturated sage with a cool aquatic pull. More presence than its quieter cousins, but still fundamentally composed.
Uses
- Interior walls and ceilings
- Residential interiors
- Hospitality and retail environments
- Wellness focused spaces
- Galleries and studios
- High traffic commercial interiors
- Remodels requiring low odor and fast re occupancy
- Drywall, plaster, masonry, concrete, and previously painted surfaces compatible with mineral coatings
Why it works?
Unlike conventional acrylic paints, KEIM Innostar uses mineral silicate chemistry that bonds into the substrate through a process called silicification. This creates a highly durable finish that resists peeling, flaking, and premature aging. Its mineral composition also allows the surface to remain vapor permeable, helping walls naturally regulate moisture and reducing the likelihood of trapped humidity or mold growth.
The finish has a distinctly architectural quality: ultra matte, softly luminous, and responsive to changing natural light throughout the day. Because it contains no added VOCs, solvents, plasticizers, preservatives, or biocides, it maintains extremely low odor during application and supports healthier indoor air quality.
