LUNA®, trout leather, is a remarkable material embodying the strength of French rivers. With a very fine and absolutely regular grain, trout leather is an easy-to-use material for ornaments, watches, sheathing and leather goods. The fine size of the scales makes this leather an innovative material.
Metallic collections with character BRIGHT so special, enhance the natural pattern of the leather by playing with light. Following a finishing step providing a uniform shade and greater resistance to the leather, the entire surface is plated to freeze the pattern.

In order to guarantee the highest quality of sea leathers, ICTYOS’ tanning processes require a careful selection of the finest fish skins from their French agri- food partners. To control the traceability of supplies, ICTYOS relies on a network of local partners and reduces its carbon footprint thanks to this short circuit. By recovering skins that were initially destined for destruction, ICTYOS does not increase fishing and use smartly the available resources in an up-cycling logic.
ICTYOS favors vegetable tannins composed of leaves, roots or fruits to minimize the impact on deforestation.
